How on earth did I ever think that I would like to have a regular column in the paper? Yes, during my high school years (which now seem like eons ago) I actually entertained such a thought. Here I am with not even a clue what to write about for my creative writing home-work. I have writer’s block and I haven’t started my writing career yet! Actually the homework should be a breeze given the environment that we currently live in. I’m supposed to write a short story from the viewpoint of 1st person subsidiary character, in which the subsidiary character died a horrible death. Now with all these murders happening on a daily basis around us, what’s hard in that? Somehow I’m just blank. Maybe I’ll get inspiration in Trinidad so I’ll be toting my laptop(old-faithful) with me. Afterall, their crime problem tend to taken on a different flavour - they kidnap. Maybe I’ll make my subsidiary character the victim of a kidnapping. Ahh, that’s it!
I really don’t know how I’ll find the time to do two creative writing homework - I’m also suppose to do an annotation (first I need to figure out how one is done) plus put in some time to prepare for my exam in May in between the fete-ing and the roadmarching. My host in the Socaphile’s paradise informed me that I’ll be going from the airport directly to a fete.
